Lori Ford graduated from Burns High School in 1998, then moved to the valley to attend college at the University of Oregon, where she graduated with her Bachelors in Education. Go Ducks! She worked full-time as a paraprofessional while completing her Masters Degree through the University of Phoenix. Lori began her teaching career in the tiny town of Monroe, Oregon (20 miles south of Corvallis), where she taught 3rd & 4th grades for five years. Lori loved her time in the classroom with the Monroe families; but when the opportunity arose to move back to Eastern Oregon, Lori and her husband jumped. In 2021, Lori became the Child Development Specialist for Brooklyn Primary and, in 2022, the Assistant Principal at Brooklyn, where she remained until 2025. She then transferred to Haines Elementary to become the Principal in the fall of 2025. In her spare time, Lori enjoys being with her husband and three kids ages 18, 16 & 14. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time on the water - boating, fishing, or skiing.
